expecco webEdition with multiple installations of Selenium

Postby asudipto » 10. Mar 2009, 15:42

Here's a mapping I need to sort out.

expecco webEdition runs on Selenium.
For my web based AUT, I have a Selenium Core that runs in Tomcat deployment.

Is there a way I could point expecco webEdition to use the Selenium Core deployed under Tomcat, rather than the Selenium IDE bundled in? Would that be required and necessary for successful recognition of Web GUI controls?

Thanks & Regards,

Expecco is using Selenium IDE to record tests and Selenium RC for playback. The Selenium IDE is not required for test execution.
It is not possible/required to use another Selenium Core than the one bundled with the Selenium RC. You can import your existing scripts from your Selenium Core folder in expecco and execute them.
